The latest training images released by Everton show the club’s new signing in action with his teammates as the Blues prepare for FA Cup action at the weekend
Alcaraz’s first training session is notable for other reasons beyond his introduction to his teammates. While none of the injured players – including club captain Seamus Coleman – are pictured there is the return of an item that was banned by former manager Sean Dyche. Alcaraz is one of several players, a group that includes Jordan Pickford, Vitalii Mykolenko, Jesper Lindstrom, Jack Harrison and Jake O’Brien who are captured wearing snoods while they train. A number are also wearing white socks – another dislike of Moyes’ predecessor, who enforced a ‘train how you play’ mantra. Both have been visible since Moyes’ return but the cold weather on Wednesday made their use far more prevalent.
