Everton have included genius clause in Armando Broja loan deal from Chelsea that is rarely seen
Broja joined Everton in a late loan move from Chelsea before the transfer window closed.

Everton reportedly included a special clause in their loan deal to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea that is rarely seen.
The Toffees completed a last-gasp move to bring Broja to Goodison Park before the transfer window shut on Friday.
The Albanian striker was reportedly one of the players named in Chelsea’s ‘bomb squad’ – players who were banished from the first team and told that they would not be named in the Blues’ Premier League squad.

Ipswich had attempted to sign the 22-year-old, but Everton swooped and won the race to sign him.
Although the deal was fully completed after the window closed at 1am, they submitted the required deal sheet prior to the 11pm deadline.
Sean Dyche’s side were in desperate need of attacking reinforcements, having failed to score in either of their two Premier League games so far this season.

But the issue for Everton is that Broja is currently injured, having suffered a foot injury in pre-season.
The striker will continue his rehabilitation at Everton ahead of an anticipated return in October.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Toffees wanted to include a clause in the deal which meant they did not pay anything for Broja – salary or loan fee – until he is named in a senior matchday squad.
The club also have the option to sign Broja permanently next summer if he has a successful season on Merseyside.

Speaking after the loan move was confirmed, Everton director of football Kevin Thelwell said of the Albanian: “Having monitored Armando’s journey for a number of years, we’re very pleased to have been able to bring him to the club.
“Armando is still a young player who has already built up some impressive experience but someone we also feel has lots more potential to be unlocked.
“First and foremost, we will work with him to get him fit as soon as possible. Then, his addition will strengthen our options in the attacking department.”
