Everton’s incoming owner John Textor is set to make “big” funds available in the January window, sources have told Football Insider.
Textor is closing in on a buyout at Goodison Park with Aliya Capital Partners backing his bid to replace Farhad Moshiri at the helm.

But with Everton pointless after a miserable first four Premier League games of this term, the US investor could have his work cut out to right the ship on Merseyside.
Sources say Textor is likely to provide ample transfer backing for Sean Dyche and his recruitment team in January.
It is believed his links with Ligue 1 side Lyon will also be utilised mid-season with Orel Mangala already joining the Toffees on a season-long loan deal.

Everton completed the permanent signings of Jake O’Brien, Iliman Ndiaye, Asmir Begovic and Tim Iroegbunam in the summer window.
Jesper Lindstrom, Jack Harrison, Armando Broja and Mangala joined on loan deals.
The Toffees have surrendered 2-0 leads to lose 3-2 in back-to-back Premier League games, with the latest disappointment coming away at Aston Villa on Saturday (14 September).

Dyche’s side sit bottom of the top-flight with zero points and have already shipped 13 goals in four games.
They are next in action against 19th-place Southampton in the League Cup on Tuesday (17 September).
