Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move to sign Argentine sensation Kevin Zenon as the Lilywhites look to compound on their squad in the 2025 transfer intervals.

The American businessman has tweaked the Lilywhites transfer strategy off late as the North Londoners now look to sign highly rated young players and nurture them into their potential in the corridors of Hotspur Way. And this shift in approach has seen Spurs prioritise highly acclaimed youth talent, and Zenón, a 23-year-old versatile ace, fits that mould perfectly.
Tottenham have been regarded as one of the clubs open to paying off his £13 million release clause, per Caught Off Side, and ex-Spurs scout Bryan King has backed the move to sign Boca Juniors ace to provide competition to Destiny Udogie in the left back role. He insists that competition breeds class, and bringing in Zenon would have similar effects, as he explains how it can turn out to be a good move for the North Londoners.
Zenon can feature not only in the left back role but also along the left flank, which makes him an ideal option for the Australian head coach, who likes players who can feature in multiple roles that would help him operate tweaked roles and strategies in games.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, King said:
“Competition in a football team is the best thing you can have. If the player is available at that price, and Spurs think he is good enough to come in and push Udogie, then I’d imagine it would be a sensible move. However, we will have to wait and see what happens with that.”
