Everton could be set to reignite their interest in Sevilla defender Juanlu Sanchez.
The Blues were linked with a move for the right-back late in the winter transfer window but nothing materialised before the deadline passed.
Carlos Alcaraz was the only business that the Toffees completed back then, however, they are set for a busy summer as the Friedkin Group look to support David Moyes.

Everton set for Juanlu transfer after new transfer twist
Everton may accelerate their interest in Juanlu after a new twist emerged involving the Spain Under-23 international’s future.
A report from the Sunday Mirror (13 April, page 64) claims that the attacking full-back is valued at £15million despite having a £34.3m release clause in his new contract that he signed this week.
It states that the Blues face competition from the likes of Real Madrid, Brighton and Newcastle to secure the Sevilla man’s services.
Sanchez would be a great addition for Everton
Jake O’Brien has been brilliant as a makeshift right-back for the Blues since David Moyes returned to Goodison Park, impressing with reliable performances every week.
However, if the Toffees are to challenge for European qualification next season, as the Scotsman has claimed recently, they need to upgrade and get a natural in the position rather than playing a centre-back in an unfamiliar spot.

Sanchez is a capable defender and can impact proceedings going forward and has the potential to be a star in the Premier League if he makes the move to England.
The Spaniard has notched five goals and four assists in 28 matches this season and would provide some more spark to Moyes’ side going forward, something which they desperately need as they have struggled to score goals.
He would also provide some much-needed versatility, being able to play in central midfield or further forward as a winger.
The Blues may have to act fast to secure his signature, given the other teams that hold an interest and the player’s rising stock after his performances in La Liga.
