Sergio Conceicao prefers joining West Ham instead of taking over the reins at Everton, according to TEAMtalk.
The news outlet reported on 12 December that sources claim even though he is the top priority at Goodison Park, he also has admirers at the London Stadium and fancies moving to the capital.
Thus far, Julen Lopetegui has not yet been relieved of his duties at the Hammers and Sean Dyche is also still the Toffees manager.
Sergio Conceicao will be a good appointment for West Ham
It’s clear for everyone to see that Lopetegui is not the man to take this club forward.
Conceicao achieved tremendous success at Porto and he did so playing a good brand of football, something the Hammers fans have been crying out for.
Lopetegui also arrived with the reputation of playing good football but he has failed to command the respect of the squad.
The Spaniard is also extremely unpopular among the London Stadium faithful who will not mind if he’s sacked.
Conceicao would instantly be popular among the fans and quickly command the respect of the squad as well.
Whether or not the club go ahead with him or fancy Graham Potter remains to be seen as both would be decent appointments.
