Everton new owners to extend Dyche’s contract. Gives 3 reasons why he is the best for the club

Friedkin Group have not ruled out extending Sean Dyche’s Everton contract

The Friedkin Group have been eyeing Sergio Conceicao to replace Sean Dyche and Graham Potter has also been mooted as a potential candidate.

However, the landscape at Everton has changed in recent weeks after a 4-0 win against Wolves before a goalless draw away at Arsenal.

Now, according to TEAMtalk, it’s believed the Friedkin Group have not ruled out extending Dyche’s contract.

The Everton boss’ current deal is due to expire at the end of the season and it looked certain he would leave during the summer at the very latest.

But, that could change if the positive results continue.

Extending Dyche’s deal would be short-sighted

Extending Dyche’s deal would be extremely short-sighted by the club and it certainly wouldn’t be a popular decision among the Everton fanbase.

It wasn’t so long ago Everton fans were urging the club to sack Dyche, so clearly there remains somewhat of a fractious relationship.

The Toffees have one of the oldest squads in the Premier League and are in desperate need of a rebuild, which isn’t Dyche’s strength.

Potter would be the ideal man for the rebuild, so the Friedkin’s should move on from Dyche next summer at the latest.
