Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has posted on social media for the first time since the club was purchased by The Friedkin Group.
Pickford, 30, has been key for Sean Dyche once again this season, starting all 16 of his games across all competitions, keeping seven clean sheets, and conceding 21 goals in his 1440 minutes of action.
The Friedkin Group, led by American billionaire Dan Friedkin finalised their purchase of the club on Tuesday (December 19), ending Farhad Moshiri’s tumultuous tenure at the club.
The agreement for 99.5% of the club is reportedly valued at over £400 million, making Everton the 10th Premier League club to come under majority American ownership.
According to Forbes, Friedkin, who also owns Serie A giants Roma, has a net worth of £6.16billion, nearly £4billion more than Moshiri.

Everton will be hoping the takeover will be a much-needed boost after a disappointing start to the season, sitting in 16th, having won three, drawn three, and lost six of their 15 games.
The shot-stopper took to Instagram to share some of his community work over the festive period, sharing a video originally posted by the club of himself meeting a young fan called Charlie
Everton will need Pickford to be at his best as they prepare to host Enzo Maresca’s impressive Chelsea on Sunday (December 22).
Dyche’s side are just three points above the relegation zone but have a game in hand over their rivals after the Merseyside derby with Liverpool was postponed due to severe weather caused by Storm Darragh.
