The Reds claimed third place, while Aston Villa just edged Spurs to grab the final Champions League spot.

Alas, the supercomputer has predicted that his side will finish in fourth on, by their standards, a measly 76 points.
Slot and his entourage, in their first foray in English football, will reign victorious after gaining a four-point lead over second-placed Chelsea at the summit after their rapturous 6-3 win over Tottenham. In what would be considered a fantastic maiden season at the helm, particularly following the departure of the much-beloved Jurgen Klopp, the Merseyside outfit are expected to be just two points ahead at the top.
The final two teams to go down are less surprising, as many would’ve been tipping Ipswich Town and Southampton to do so at the start of the season. Kieran McKenna and the currently managerless Saints are in 19th and 20th, respectively, with the former among those to not have a Premier League win under their belt until recently.
Between the pair, they are only set to have that feeling seven times all year. A miracle will be needed to keep either the Tractor Boys or the Saints up for another bite of the top flight cherry. However, much like Luton Town’s story from last season, Ipswich will just be happy to be here in the first place, and there’s somethign admirable about that itself.
