Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s fiancé appears to hit out at Everton manager Sean Dyche on Instagram
Everton were on a good run of four games unbeaten and just one goal conceded, but things have turned sour after a disappointing performance against Nottingham Forest.
The Toffees offered very little going forward, despite making the switch to having Armando Broja at the pinnacle of the attack.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin found himself out of the side having scored just two goals so far this season.
This was a decision that didn’t go down too well with the striker’s fiancé, Sandra Jerze.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s fiancé voices disproval of Sean Dyche decision at Everton
Many Everton fans have been losing their patience with Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the current campaign due to the amount of chances missed and a lack of goals.
However, Beto and Armando Broja haven’t managed to offer a great deal just yet, though they have been given far less opportunities.
Sean Dyche’s decision to bench Calvert-Lewin has caused a bit of a stir with his partner.
Sandra Jerze took to her Instagram to react to another person’s story with one of her own.
The original story stated.
‘They said get DCL on the bench… well he is and he was against Man U as well.;
Calvert-Lewin’s fiancé responsed.
‘I didn’t say it but Freddy he did, he said it!’
As we know, Calvert-Lewin is set to have his contract expire at the end of the season.
His performances this season perhaps haven’t warranted a future at the club and the high wages he’s on don’t make a renewal any easier.
It’s unlikely they’ll get rid of him in the January transfer window unless the Toffees manage to get a replacement in next month, as Youssef Chermiti and Armando Broja are unproven.
Beto also looks to be on his way out in January, with plenty of clubs in Italy taking a look.
