Everton lost 2-0 against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday.
Goodison Park hosted the Tricky Trees on 29 December, with Sean Dyche handing Armando Broja his first start of the campaign.
Chris Wood opened the scoring for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team in the first half before Morgan Gibbs-White doubled the visitors’ lead at the hour mark.

Jordan Pickford – 6
Pickford came out rushing to allow Wood to dink him and went in the book in the second half after an argument with the referee but made some brilliant saves during the 90 minutes.
Ashley Young (Substituted for Nathan Patterson in the 68th minute) – 3
Young’s return to the starting lineup wasn’t fruitful, and the 39-year-old looked worse for wear as he lost most of his challenges.
James Tarowski – 1
Tarkowski let Wood ease past him for the first goal and could’ve been sent off in the fixture after committing poor could in the opening 45 minutes.
Jarrad Branthwaite – 2
Branthwaite looked uncomfortable at the back as well and was cautioned as well for his foul on Gibbs-White.
Vitalii Mykolenko – 6
Mykolenko was the better of the Everton defenders as he was solid at the back and looked to make an impact in the final third.
Idrissa Gueye (Substituted for Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the 68th minute) – 5
Gueye tried his best to link up the midfield and attack but was unable to have an effect on the scoreline. The yellow card tarnished his outing a bit.
Orel Mangala – 6
Mangala was composed in the middle of the park and tried to get into positions in the final third to get the Toffees back into the game.
Abdoulaye Doucoure – 3
Doucoure was complicit in giving away the second goal as he gifted the ball away to Forest as Gibbs-White found the back of the net.
Iliman Ndiaye shines in Everton v Nottingham Forest
Jack Harrison (Substituted for Jesper Lindstrom in the 46th minute) – 3
Harrison failed to do much in the first half and gave the ball away on several occasions, with Dyche hooking him off at the break.
Iliman Ndiaye – 8
Ndiaye was the best of the Blues’ attackers as he took on the Tricky Trees’ defence and showed great quality to get past them.
Armando Broja (Substituted for Beto in the 75th minute) – 6
Broja cut a lonesome figure up top and looked rusty with some of his shots in his first start for the Merseyside outfit.

Lindstrom came on at the break and had more of an impact than Harrison on the right-hand side of the attack.
