Sean Dyche was left frustrated with his Everton side on Sunday following their defeat at home against Nottingham Forest.
With Ipswich Town and Wolves both pulling off results against some of the bigger sides in the league, Everton enter the year narrowly above the drop zone.
And this will now only increase the scrutiny surrounding Dyche’s position at the club following the takeover.

The Friedkin Group’s stance on sacking Sean Dyche at Everton
Following the takeover, Dyche held a meeting with Marc Watts where the support of the new owners was shared.
According to TeamTalk, Dyche is fully aware of his situation at Goodison Park with his contract set to run out at the end of the campaign.
However, as things stand, it would take a dramatic decline in results for them to make the decision to sack him during the season.
That may also be a result of the Friedkins’ shortlist consisting of managers who are not looking for a new role currently.
Everton have Max Allegri on their radar to replace Dyche, but he is waiting until the summer to decide on his next job.

Options may be limited for the Friedkins with Sergio Conceicao being appointed AC Milan manager over recent days.
With Everton sitting just above the relegation zone, finding the back of the net has been their biggest issue this season.
The Toffees have only been able to turn three of their 18 games in the Premier League into wins.

But the reality is their failure to win games is proving to be a real issue, and Dyche is struggling to find the answer.
