Goal keepers crisis to be settled by £12.5m shot stopper.

Tottenham are set to sign a new goalkeeper with 21-year-old Slavia Prague stopper Antonin Kinsky closing in on a £12.5million permanent move to the north London club.

Spurs lost Guglielmo Vicario to a fractured foot in the 4-0 win at Manchester City back in November and veteran goalkeeper Fraser Forster has stood in for the Italy international since with mixed results with 25 goals conceded from his 13 matches so far this season.

Now Tottenham have turned their attentions to bringing in Kinsky for now and the long-term future to compete with Vicario for the number one spot.

The young stopper is currently the first choice Slavia stopper with the Czech side top of their league by 10 points and he has played in the Europa League this season as well as having Champions League qualifying match experience. Kinsky has kept 12 clean sheets from his 19 league matches so far this season.

Brandon Austin looks set to make his Tottenham debut for the Premier League match against Newcastle on Saturday afternoon with Forster believed to be among those suffering from an illness bug in the squad.
