Dominic Calvert-Lewin could leave Everton in the January transfer window as Atalanta want to sign him now, according to Tuttosport.
The Turin-based sports newspaper reported via their website on 5 January that the Serie A club have turned their attention towards Calvert-Lewin after Gian Piero Gasperini demanded the signing of a striker and a midfielder this window.
Atalanta are, therefore, “trying” to sign the England international, who they are aware has his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Calvert-Lewin looks increasingly likely to leave the Toffees on a free transfer at the end of the season, having rejected their most recent proposal [CaughtOffside].
The centre-forward’s performances for Sean Dyche’s side have also left much to be desired, with only two goals to show for his 19 Premier League appearances.
However, Everton’s new owners, The Friedkin Group, should give serious thought to cashing in on Calvert-Lewin during the ongoing transfer window.
With only six months left on his contract, the former Sheffield United man will not command a hefty transfer fee.
However, it appears to be a better option than holding on to him and losing him for free in the summer.
Everton could use the money they get from Calvert-Lewin’s sale to fund a move for a new striker that would suit Dyche’s style of play.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen how much Atalanta are willing to pay for the 27-year-old.
