West Ham supporters are thrilled by the possibility of signing Jonathan David on a pre-contract agreement ahead of next season after a recent report.
According to Sky Sports, four Premier League clubs have approached David’s representatives over a pre-contract agreement before his Lille deal expires next summer.
The Hammers faithful believe that they could be one of the clubs interested in trying to sign the Canada international.
The 24-year-old is out of contract with the Ligue 1 outfit next summer and is free to negotiate with foreign clubs over a pre-contract for July onward.
David has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League for some time now due to his attacking qualities and the goal threat that he can provide.
The striker has scored 11 goals in 16 games for Lille this season in Ligue 1 while he’s scored 31 times in 59 international appearances for Canada.
