Malen – who Tottenham also want – is valued by Borussia Dortmund at a sum in the region of €25m to €30m (£20.9m to £25m) and while Aston Villa are yet to agree a fee with the German giants, they are expected to shake hands on a figure soon.
The Dutchman – who can play anywhere across the frontline – has scored five goals and provided one assists in 20 appearances across all competitions this season.

Once Malen has arrived at Villa Park, the England U21 international – who has only made two Premier League starts this season – will surely be given the green light to depart.
If the deal collapses – however – anything could happen, with Aston Villa presumably unwilling to leave themselves short of options as we enter the business end of the season.
