Graham Potter has taken on a new job amid links with the managerial roles at both Everton and West Ham, it has been confirmed.
Both Sean Dyche at Goodison Park and Julen Lopetegui with the Hammers have found themselves under intense scrutiny when it comes to their positions recently after poor runs of form.
In the meantime though, the 49-year-old has already secured himself one new role, after it was announced on Tuesday (7 January) that Potter has become course co-director for the certificate in Football Psychology, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership with the PFA Business School.
The course is one that focuses on the impacts of emotion on players, managers and teams alike, which Potter should of course have plenty of experiences to relate to from his time in the game.

While things did not work out for him at Chelsea, Potter still showed during his time with Brighton that he can be a very good manager for a club in the Premier League for clubs aiming for top-flight stability.

He could therefore be a solid fit for either Everton or West Ham as both look to stay clear of the relegation zone this season.
Of course, managing a Premier League team would require his full focus, and you imagine Potter would not want to close the door on a role such as that.
As a result it will be interesting to see exactly how long he actually remains in this role with the PFA Business School for as he is considered for managerial roles.
Given what is at stake for the two clubs, Everton and West Ham may not want him dividing his time with that role as well if he does take over either team.
With that in mind, the timing of his appointment to this new position outside of management does feel rather strange.
