Ipswich have agreed a fee of £21million plus add-ons for Aston Villa winger Jaden Philogene, talkSPORT understands.
Philogene is set to undergo a medical on Thursday and Villa make a profit of at least £8m on the deal after paying Hull £13m for the 22-year-old in July.
Kieran McKenna is said to have been crucial in Philogene’s decision to join the Tractor Boys.
He had previously been linked with a move to Portman Road in the summer before Villa triggered a buy-back clause to re-sign him.
Philogene has since made 15 appearances for the club, with four of them coming from the start.
The England under-21 international could make his Ipswich debut at home to Bristol Rovers on Sunday in the FA Cup.
