Everton now want to sign one of the best passers in Europe as David Moyes’ first addition

Everton are in the market for January reinforcements as the window hits the midway stage.
David Moyes has been officially unveiled as the new Everton manager as he attended his first press conference back at Finch Farm on Monday afternoon.
Moyes outlined the Toffees transfer plans and admitted the need to bring in elite players to match the new state-of-the-art stadium on Bramley-Moore Dock.
The Friedkin Group plan to back Moyes with three new signings, with two fullbacks and a wide player on the shortlist.
With that said, it’s just come to light that Everton now want to sign a promising young right-back on the continent.

Everton now want to sign Devyne Rensch
According to Dutch outlet AD, Everton are considering a move for Ajax right-back Devyne Rensch this winter window.
The Merseysiders are set to rival Napoli, Roma and Marseille for his signature as Moyes looks to find a long-term successor to Seamus Coleman and Ashley Young.
Rensch is out of contract in the summer so Ajax are prepared to sanction his sale for around £8m. The Dutch giants have already rejected a bud from Roma.
It’s understood Rensch has no intention to renew his deal and has his sights set on leaving the club.

Rensch statistically one of the best passers in Europe
Rensch’s underlying data is really impressive and he’s actually statistically one of the best passers in Europe, as per FBref.
The 21-year-old ranks in the top one per cent for pass completion per 90 compared to his positional peers across the continent, averaging a phenomenal 89.4 per cent success rate.
Rensch also sits in the top 14 per cent for progressive passes completed, so clearly if Everton were to land his signature, they’d be signing a very accomplished fullback in possession of the ball.
