19 games into the new campaign, though, and the wheels are coming off in quite spectacular fashion for Guardiola and his all-conquering City players. Arne Slot’s Liverpool have already opened up a 12-point lead over the reigning champions with a game in hand in the bank as well.
With data provided by BonusCodeBets’ Premier League Supercomputer, how the division will shape up at the end of the season has been predicted. Manchester United fans may want to look away, as the results do not make good reading for the Red Devils, while the Nottingham Forest faithful are in for a swashbuckling season as they attempt to finish above the reigning champions.

Chris Wood and Co are firing on all cylinders at the minute, and after flirting with relegation last term, look set to qualify for Europe’s premier competition for the first time since 1995.
Enzo Maresca and Chelsea, according to the Supercomputer, won’t be able to regain their form from the start of the season. Instead, they will drop as lowly as 7th. The Blues are winless in their last five league outings, and this sees them predicted to finish below Aston Villa (5th with 70 points) and hotshots Newcastle United (sixth on 67 points) – one place lower than they ended with Ange Postecoglu in the 2024/25 campaign.
Despite facing the worst fitness record in the top division this season and still adapting to life under the Premier League’s youngest-ever manager, Fabian Hurzeler, Brighton and Hove Albion are still expected to finish eighth. Given the circumstances, this would be viewed as a relatively successful debut campaign.
As somewhat expected after a successful transition season last time out, Andoni iraola – with the help of in-form forward-thinkers Antoine Semenyo, Evanilson, and Justin Kluivert – and Bournemouth are predicted not to struggle, with them finishing ninth on a respectable 57 points. The Supercomputer, meanwhile, predicts Fulham to round out the top 10 on 56 points.

Brentford, still very much struggling to balance consistency between their home and away form, are expected to just miss out on the top 10, finishing 11th with 51 points. Tottenham, on 50 points, will follow closely, as their worrying record of 11 defeats so far (more than any other team outside the relegation zone) is expected to swell to 18 by the end of the season.
That being said, there’s perhaps nobody who will feel more disappointed should the supercomputer be correct than Ruben Amorim. The supercomputer has predicted that the former Sporting Lisbon boss will be unable to turn around Manchester United’s worst start to a league season since 1986/87, with them finishing 13th come May 10.
If this proves to be the case, it’ll be the Red Devils’ worst-ever Premier League finish, and they will finish a massive 43 points behind Liverpool, as the post-Ferguson blues continue to trudge on at a worrying rate.
West Ham United are also set to be one of the biggest disappointments after such an exciting summer transfer window, with Julen Lopetegui – formerly of Real Madrid – making way for Graham Potter to guide the Irons to a 14th-placed finish in 2024/25. But given they started life under the old Chelsea boss with an emphatic 3-2 win over Fulham, the London Stadium faithful will hope for more of the same in coming weeks.
