Rangers v Celtic post-split clash date and time revealed as Hoops’ eye Premiership title party on the road BEFORE Ibrox

CELTIC’S next Premiership game is AWAY from home against Dundee United at Tannadice.

Brendan Rodgers’ side are just a point away from clinching four-in-a-row.

But their next opportunity is NOT at Celtic Park – after the SPFL picked their post-split fixtures.

The games are set to be announced by league chiefs at 4pm today.

But SunSport can reveal the key games NOW.

Celtic will be at at Tannadice to take on Dundee United on Saturday April 26 with a 12.30 kick-off.

A point or more against the Terrors will confirm Brendan Rodgers’ men as champions once again.

The Hoops’ next clash is the final Old Firm showdown of the season against Rangers at Ibrox.

Should Celtic lose to Dundee United and Rangers win their first post-split clash against St Mirren, then there is the chance of the Hoops clinching the title AT the home of their rivals.

That big derby clash is on Sunday May 4 before they face Hibs at home a week later and then take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Wednesday April 14.

Celts’ final league game – which will see them lift the trophy – will be their last TV appearance of the campaign at home against St Mirren on May 17.

Rangers will face St Mirren in their first post-split game.

Barry Ferguson’s side will then have that Old Firm clash before Aberdeen (H), Dundee United (H) and Hibs (A) on the final day.

The race for Europe is where many more eyes will be focused on and all four of the other top six clubs are still mathematically in with a chance of qualifying in one of the two remaining spots.

Whoever finishes third will go into the second qualifying round of the Europa League and whoever claims fourth will enter the second qualifying round of the Conference League.

As it stands, Hibs could even catch Rangers in second but that would require a monumental capitulation from the Ibrox side – and for the Easter Road men to obliterate a 77-year-old record that they have only just matched.
