‘Pedro Porro to quit Tottenham as big names begin to jump ship in mass exodus’

Tottenham Hotspur’s dismal season will have left plenty of big names with their eyes on the exit door in North London.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side approach the end of a campaign to forget with only the Europa League left to play for, and a 17th-placed Premier League finish still a real possibility given their woeful domestic form.
Daniel Levy therefore faces a summer of tough decisions in North London, as the speculation over Postecoglou’s future has already affected recruitment plans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Football Insider have already reported that Manchester City could come with a potential bid to re-sign Pedro Porro, and former Tottenham star Paul Robinson wouldn’t be surprised to see the right-back leave.
The ex-Spurs and England goalkeeper told Football Insider that Porro will be the first of many Tottenham players with eyes on pastures new next summer, particularly if they fail to reach the Champions League.

Tottenham ‘leadership vaccum’ powerless to prevent Porro exit
Although Football Insider sources revealed that Tottenham will demand at least £50million for City or any other club to buy Porro this summer, the right-back could be one of several to jump ship at Spurs.

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Robinson said European qualification is absolutely essential for Tottenham to keep their best players this summer, and wouldn’t blame anyone else keen to head for pastures new.
“Tottenham’s season’s been poor, let’s not sugarcoat it – if they don’t get Europe, I think you’ll see a lot of players jumping ship”, Robinson told Football Insider.
There’s a leadership vacuum – Ange [Postecoglou] started brightly, but since the injuries it’s all fallen apart… You can’t have this many collapses and expect the same squad to be committed next season.”

Tottenham to be unrecognisable after summer overhaul
Robinson has already told Football Insider that Postecoglou will be sacked by Tottenham even if they do win the Europa League, and that’s set to leave another vaccum in the dugout as Spurs seek a successor.
As Tottenham mull over their planned pursuits of Thomas Frank, Marco Silva and Andoni Iraola, they already run the risk of rejection with a new Bournemouth contract on the table for the latter this summer.
Recruitment of players will also likely take a back seat, and though some transfers could still take place at Levy’s behest rather than Postecoglou’s, it’s difficult to understate the size of the task at Tottenham this summer.

A shortlist of potential new signings has been drawn up, with new wingers and centre-forwards on their radar as they ideally want to sign somebody capable of playing both positions.
PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani had been an option after he was made available, but Juventus have now emerged as his most likely destination.
Now, Tottenham will have to move their focus elsewhere in their pursuit of new options to strengthen the depth in Postecoglou’s side.
