Everton fans will be worried about Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury, but concern may rise even more after Beto’s impact in the Toffees’ win over Brighton.
It was a monumental performance from Everton who have secured back-to-back wins for the first time this season after a 1-0 victory at Brighton.
Iliman Ndiaye’s penalty has given the club a massive boost in terms of their status in the Premier League.
A big negative saw Calvert-Lewin pull his hamstring 13 minutes in as David Moyes will certainly not have a headache in terms of striker options.
Beto, whose future is up in the air, came on to replace the striker, as his performance was assessed by the Everton fans.

With Beto seemingly having his bags packed at Everton the striker’s future looks extremely uncertain.
Fans haven’t been too impressed with Beto when he has played this season and it was the same story against Brighton.
The Everton faithful took to X after Beto’s poor showing against Brighton.
Ye I would sell Beto me and he’s offered nothin since he’s come on here #efc

@EFC_Lucy added: “There’s no way we can play the rest of the season with Beto upfront. He’s awful”
And if we have to go rest of season with Beto up top I can’t see us doing much rest of season. Hope he proves me wrong but I don’t see what people see in him! 🤷♀️he’s just all legs and pace but nothing much else.

Many Everton fans commented on what Beto doesn’t offer which Calvert-Lewin does, adding more concern to the no.9’s absence.
Missing DCL and his ability to hold the ball and let us get out. Much better at playing back to goal than Beto.

@howardskendolls said: “People can keep telling me about Beto, but he’s just not a good footballer. If Dom is injured and on his way out, I’d sell Beto, send Broja back and start from scratch. There are players out there. Some would love a stepping stone Premier League club.”
I love Beto’s effort and energy but his football IQ is absolutely appalling
