Bryan King believes David Moyes could repeat the success of Tomáš Souček’s transfer to West Ham with Everton closing in on Ángelo Preciado.
As reported by Tuttosport (27 January), Everton are one step away from signing the Sparta Prague midfielder, who can also play as a right-back.
Preciado is set to move to Goodison Park in a deal worth £5million, with Everton in need of a right-back.
And ex-Goodison scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – believes the Czech market is one that Moyes knows well after signing Souček for West Ham previously.
“Moyes has a good history signing players out of the Czech Republic,” King said.
“He was the one who brought Souček to West Ham. Therefore, he must know the market in that country well because nobody bothered with Souček and he has certainly been a success in the Premier League.
“As a result, this could be another player who is brought in by Moyes and the people around him, and somebody who could have a similar impact.”

If Preciado was to sign for the Toffees and do as well as Souček has done for West Ham, the £5m fee would seem like a bargain.
Moyes has made a bright start to his second spell in charge at Goodison Park but is yet to really make an impact in the transfer market.
Therefore, Everton should be doing everything in their power to bring somebody in before 3 February.
And if Moyes wants Preciado, that is who the club should sign, as the Everton boss has certainly proven that he knows his stuff when it comes to players playing their football in that part of Europe.
