Everton are already looking ahead to the summer transfer market for ways to improve their squad.
Not much was done by the Toffees over the January window with only Carlos Alcaraz coming through the doors at Finch Farm.
David Moyes was demanding two new signings over the winter market, but had to settle for one late addition.
Everton were hamstrung by PSR which had forced them to look heavily into the loan market and other opportunities.
However, The Friedkins Group are eyeing a big summer transfer window with the burden of the financial regulations expected to ease on Merseyside.
So much so, that talks internally are already going on over their first potential summer signing.

Everton internally discussing signing Jesper Lindstrom permanently
A number of players have excelled under Moyes since he made his return to Merseyside.
Jake O’Brien has really impressed Moyes with the centre-back finally getting his opportunity in the starting XI, albeit at right-back.
Another who’s shone is Jesper Lindstrom and Team Talk have suggested discussions have already begun about signing him permanently.

The Danish winger arrived in the summer on a season-long loan from Serie A giants Napoli.
It is claimed Everton have an option worth in the region of £19m to sign Lindstrom in the summer on a permanent deal.
Moyes has hailed Lindstrom since he arrived last month with the 24-year-old become a regular under the Scotsman.
And it seems Moyes would be keen to see Lindstrom’s stay at Goodison extended beyond the end of his loan deal.

In the game against Tottenham Hotspur, Moyes could be heard encouraging Lindstrom with instructions to shut his man down.
Those words paid off as it resulted in Lindstrom winning the ball back and starting an Everton attack.
This is not the only sign to suggest the pair have formed a strong relationship in their month together.
Moyes and Lindstrom were spotted talking privately on the day in which Moyes made his return to Finch Farm.
Lindstrom may not exactly have shone in front of goal this season, but it seems apparent Moyes likes what he sees with the expectation of more to come from the Dane.
