Marcus Rashford joined Aston Villa on loan during the January transfer window.
Fans have been reacting on social media after Marcus Rashford made his Premier League debut for Aston Villa.
During the January transfer window, Rashford left Manchester United after stating his desire to seek a new challenge away from Old Trafford.
Rashford was frozen out at United after Ruben Amorim overlooked him for the matchday squad against Manchester City.
Having been linked with the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, AC Milan and Arsenal, the 27-year-old ended up joining Villa on loan until the end of the season.
Last week, Rashford made his Villa debut during the FA Cup victory over Tottenham Hotspur and impressed fans with his short cameo.
On Saturday afternoon, Unai Emery resisted the urge to start Rashford for Villa’s Premier League clash against Ipswich Town but did bring the Englishman on at the beginning of the second half.
Rashford again showed glimpses of what he is capable of as he made a couple of decent runs and had a shot saved by the Ipswich goalkeeper.
However, Villa fell behind in the 56th minute after Liam Delap’s close-range finish.
Rashford continued to try and get his side back in the match and linked up a few times on the left-hand side with Ian Maatsen.
With 69 minutes on the clock, Rashford played a key role in Villa’s equaliser as his free-kick bounced off the woodwork and into the path of Ollie Watkins, who calmly finished to make it 1-1.

Reacting on social media, some fans were left impressed by Rashford’s work at both ends of the pitch.
One fan said: “Look at Rashford man. UTD let him down, nothing else. The environment is massive. Every bit of abuse from fans plays a massive part. Open your eyes.”
Another tweeted: “Rashford tracking back!!”
A third fan added: “Marcus Rashford has been brilliant so far.”
Someone else wrote: “What did Amorim say he is bad at?”
A fifth commented: “Rashford looks good…… Amorim you really froze him out instead of utilising him until end of the season.”
Another fan said: “Rashford is looking good, out to prove Amorim wrong.”
