Man United star Amad Diallo has promised he will “come back stronger” after being dealt a season-ending injury.
Amad suffered an ankle ligament injury during a training session this week which has sidelined him for the foreseeable future.
During his pre-Tottenham match interview with Sky Sports, Ruben Amorim said “I think so, yeah,” when asked if the injury will rule the Ivory Coast international out for the season.
Amad’s injury has left United fans suggesting Marcus Rashford should be called back from his loan to Aston Villa in a bid to provide Amorim with more options.
The 22-year-old has proven to be a key player for United this season after becoming a regular under Amorim, having started all but one Premier League fixtures under him.
The right winger has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 36 appearances across all competitions throughout the 2024-25 campaign.

Ruben Amorim will aim to guide United to success
The 20-time champions may have been handed a significant blow with Amad’s injury, but they still have a chance to win two trophies this season.
United remain in the FA Cup and will face Fulham in the fifth round, while they have also reached the knockout stages of the Europa League.
There is plenty of work still to be done in the Premier League though, with the club sat 14th in the table.
