What Alexander Isak has done that now has a rival sporting director thinking he’s staying at Newcastle United

Every club in the world would love to have Alexander Isak, but he belongs to Newcastle United.

The 25-year-old is establishing himself as one of the best strikers in the world, with Alexander Isak currently boasting 19 goals in all competitions this season.

Gary Lineker does not think Isak is world class yet, but the Sweden international is very much on the right path to be recognised as such. All he needs is consistency, with megastars like Mo Salah and Erling Haaland scoring a ridiculous amount of goals season after season.

That is what Isak intends to do, and it will hopefully be in the black and white of Newcastle United.

Alexander Isak will be too valuable to Newcastle United

That is despite interest from elsewhere. Arsenal would love to sign Isak, while there has been speculation over interest from Liverpool and Barcelona.

However, a new claim details why the Magpies will probably be able to retain the services of their most expensive ever signing.

The i Paper have been told by a rival sporting director in the Premier League that Isak is playing so well now that no club would be able to match Newcastle United’s valuation.

They state that he has played his way out of a move away, which will be music to the ears of Toon fans.
What Newcastle United plan to do next with Alexander Isak

It is a solid theory, while it has been claimed that Newcastle do not think anyone could afford Isak either.

That is a fair stance, as a player of his calibre is going to cost well in excess of £100million. And with a contract until 2028, Isak’s value is very much protected for at least the next year.

His value could potentially sky rocket even further, as the Magpies formulate plans to extend the forward’s contract.

Geordie Boot Boys have been told that Newcastle want to extend Isak’s contract before the end of the season, and the hope will be that he is willing to commit his future to the club.
