With recent reports suggesting that Spurs are set to offer Lucas Bergvall a new contract, it seems that Tottenham fans are all in agreement on one thing: they want to keep him around for as long as possible.
Given how poor Tottenham Hotspur have been this season, it is rather hard to point out a player who has been consistent all year.

However, since December and the turn of the year, one youngster—Lucas Bergvall—has been delivering top performances week in, week out.
He has since become a fan favourite, with his substitution against Chelsea a few days ago leading to boos around the stadium and the infamous cupping of ear moment from Ange Postecoglou.
Tottenham fans want Lucas Bergvall to sign contract indefinitely
With Bergvall’s growing influence on the pitch, it’s no surprise to hear reports coming out of Sweden that Tottenham Hotspur are looking to offer him a new contract. In fact, Swedish outlet Fotbolldirekt claims that the deal is already in the works.
Spurs fans, of course, are excited about the news, and, unsurprisingly, they are all saying the same thing: keep him at the club for as long as possible.
One fan commented: “What a player, hopefully keep hold of him for a few years.” Another fan responded, “We’re trapping him 😭 Levy is sick,” while someone else took it a step further with, “Lifetime contract!”
One fan even asked for a 10-year deal: “Give me 10 years contract.” Amidst the excitement, there were even praises for Daniel Levy—someone not often lauded by Spurs fans. “Say what you want about Levy, but he knows exactly how to press a young player into signing deals. Dele signed 3 in his first 2 years at the club.”
Another fan echoed the sentiment of building the squad around Bergvall, saying: “Build a squad around this man!!!”
