Tony Bellew had plenty to say about Everton during a recent television appearance, which had Sean Dyche in hysterics.
The two appeared together on Sky’s A League of Their Own, with the show posting a clip from the episode on Wednesday showing Dyche and Bellew (19 February).
Dyche is now on a management break having left Everton in early January, with The Friedkin Group opting to go in a different direction with the returning hero David Moyes.

Bellew rants about Everton as Dyche laughs
Bellew has always been a vocal Evertonian, like many passionate through the good, bad and ugly – and there have been plenty of all three since the turn of the century at Goodison Park.
After a minute-long complaint from the former champion boxer about fans who choose not to support their local clubs, he was questioned by host Romesh Ranganathan on what made him a fanatic of the Toffees.
Dyche, also featuring on the panel, was listening intently having recently left the blue half of Merseyside following a two-year stint.
Ranganathan quizzed Bellew: “Why do you support Everton, Tone?”
Bellew quickly fired back: “Trust me, I didn’t choose, I was chosen. You have to be a special kind to support my club, mate.
“All my children are Evertonians as well – I’ve told them, it’s character building,” to which Dyche, Micah Richards and the onlooking crowd bellowed with laughter.
Toffees giving Bellew more to cheer about
Everton are at least now giving Bellew and thousands of other Blues plenty to cheer about and finally some bragging rights for their daily lives.
Since Moyes replaced Dyche, they have turned into an attack-minded machine which still retains discipline and even with key players currently injured such as the masterful Iliman Ndiaye, they are still turning up and securing victories.
With six matches remaining before Goodison Park’s doors are locked for good, the Toffees are desperate to give a few more cheers to the Gwladys Street End, with Moyes at the helm in what feels like a throwback to when their side were a genuine force each year.
Next up at the Old Lady is Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off against their manager’s old employers Manchester United, adding a touch of extra spice to proceedings.
One thing is for sure – of the two sides, the blue corner’s form is on fire compared to the red corner; the Toffees can move four points clear of United with a win.
