A Supercomputer has predicted the 2024-25 Premier League table, and if proven to be correct, Arsenal face yet another season of missing out on the title, while Manchester United’s slump shows no sign of being remedied. Last term bore out a title race full of twists and turns as the Gunners were part of three teams challenging for the biggest honour in English domestic football. As Liverpool fell away eventually, Man City were left to do their thing.
Indeed, Pep Guardiola’s men powered to a record fourth consecutive Premier League title, while Mikel Arteta and co. fell short by just two points – despite picking up two more wins than the Invincibles managed. The Reds claimed third place, while Aston Villa just edged Spurs to grab the final Champions League spot.

The outcome of the 2024-25 Champions League campaign has been predicted by a supercomputer.
25 games into the new campaign, though, and the wheels are coming off in quite spectacular fashion for Guardiola and his all-conquering City players. Arne Slot’s Liverpool have already opened up a 16-point lead over the reigning champions, while Arteta’s men look to try and keep the leaders in check despite the seven point difference between first and second.
With data provided by The Sun’s Premier League Supercomputer, how the division will shape up at the end of the season has been predicted. Manchester United fans may want to look away, as the results do not make good reading for the Red Devils, while the Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth faithful are in for a swashbuckling season as they attempt to qualify for Europe.

With speculation mounting over Guardiola’s future, despite the Catalan native recently signing a two-year contract extension at the club, the Citizens may not be able to extend their record-breaking streak of top flight crowns. Alas, the Supercomputer has predicted that his side will still finish in third on, by their standards, a measly 74 points.
It would mark the first time the Citizens have finished below a traditional medal position since Guardiola took charge in 2016, thus leaving them 20 points astray of long-term adversaries, Liverpool.

Nuno Espirito Santo and his resurgent Nottingham Forest side, who are still the only team to beat Liverpool in the league thus far, are expected to complete their fairytale season by claiming sixth come May, meaning they are set to see their form tail off come the end of the campaign. Chris Wood and Co are firing on all cylinders at the minute, and after flirting with relegation last term, the Garibaldi do look set for a return to European football, just in the form of the Europa League.
Enzo Maresca and Chelsea, according to the Supercomputer, won’t be able to regain their form from the start of the season. Instead, they will drop as lowly to 5th. The Blues have won just two of their previous nine league fixtures, the most recent embarrassment coming at the hands of Brighton. As for who will take the final place in the top four, that is set to be Bournemouth according to the AI, who will finish a point above the Blues.
As somewhat expected after a successful transition season last time out, Andoni Iraola – with the help of in-form forward-thinkers Antoine Semenyo, Evanilson, and Justin Kluivert – and Bournemouth are predicted to gain European qualification for the first time since the club’s inception. However, not many would’ve predicted the remarkable achievement of qualifying for the Champions League, with the Cherries going above and beyond expectations.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are set for a spot in next season’s Conference League, while Fulham and Brighton are projected to finish in eighth and ninth, each landing on a respectable 60 points.
Mid-Table Obscurity
Tottenham & Manchester United fall to lowest Premier League finish
Aston Villa, still very much struggling to balance the juggling act of Premier League and Champions League football, are expected to just about clinch a finish inside the top 10, finishing 10th with 54 points. Brentford meanwhile will prove they were not just reliant on Ivan Toney’s goals as they are set to finish in 11th despite the contrast between their home and away form. At the time of writing, the Bees are sixth in the table when it comes to their home form, but 16th on the road. Everton’s revival under David Moyes will also see them finish a respectable 12th.
That being said, there’s perhaps nobody who will feel more disappointed should the Supercomputer be correct than Ruben Amorim. The Supercomputer has predicted that the former Sporting Lisbon boss will be unable to turn around Manchester United’s worst start to a league season since 1986/87, with them finishing 13th come May 10.
If this proves to be the case, it’ll be the Red Devils’ worst-ever Premier League finish, and they will finish a massive 51 points behind Liverpool, as the post-Ferguson blues continue to trudge on at a worrying rate.
Despite beating the Red Devils in their recent clash and securing their first Premier League double over them in their history, Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham will still have to settle for a spot behind Amorim’s side, with the two being separated by just a point.

Under Vitor Pereira, who has already overseen stunning victories against Man United and Leicester, the Old Gold are forecasted to struggle during the latter stages of the campaign despite there being signs of improvement under the Portuguese coach.
