Manchester United and Everton players continued their heated conversations down the tunnel after a chaotic 2-2 draw.
Goals from Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte completed a two-goal comeback for Manchester United on Saturday afternoon, which set up a final few minutes where the Red Devils looked most likely to go on and win it.
However, United fans were left with their head in their hands when Andy Madley pointed to the spot in injury time following an incident involving Harry Maguire, Matthijs de Ligt and former United captain Ashley Young.
VAR eventually overturned the penalty decision after replays showed Young diving. Ruben Amorim and David Moyes disagreed on the decision – unsurprisingly – while pundits defended the VAR penalty call.
There seemed to be a heated conversation between United players and Everton coach Seamus Coleman after full-time, and it seems that continued down the tunnel.

Harry Maguire clashed with Ashley Young in tunnel
After United’s miserable first-half display, Bruno Fernandes was involved in a touchline bust-up with an Everton legend.
A feisty 45 minutes followed, and both sets of players were running high on adrenaline after a chaotic finish.
According to The Athletic, players clashed after the full-time whistle and, in the tunnel, Maguire “had it out with Young”. Presumably over the last-gasp penalty call.
Before carrying out his post-match interview, Maguire told Jordan Pickford he was “surprised” by the decision, with referees rarely overturning penalty calls.
But Maguire clearly felt the right decision was made, and he was less than happy with Young’s diving antics – something that was also common during his time in a red shirt.
Harry Maguire’s struggles against Everton is a worry
Maguire was easily one of United’s three worst players against Everton after making a handful of defensive mistakes.
The two goals conceded by United were nothing short of comical. There were at least six or seven chances to clear the ball before Beto bundled in on goal.
Maguire was also caught sleeping on multiple occasions with Beto able to spin behind him or beat him in the air far too easily.
United fans criticised Andre Onana and Maguire after the full-time whistle, labelling them as a “fatal combination”.

In Amorim’s three-at-the-back system, Maguire has impressed in recent weeks, but his horror show at Goodison Park was alarming.
