Armando Broja injury update emerges out of Everton’s training camp in Abu Dhabi

Everton have not had much luck when it comes to injuries this season.David Moyes has had a lot on his plate after making the return to Merseyside, although the 61-year-old has made light work of it.

Along with taking on an Everton side who have been extremely limited in the January transfer window, Moyes has had plenty of injury issues to deal with.

Nathan Patterson has returned to Everton training earlier this week, with the defender suffering numerous setbacks this season.

The Toffees have now flown to the Middle East for a warm-weather training camp following the draw against Brentford.

And there is more positive injury news coming out of Abu Dhabi ahead of the weekend.

Ahead of Moyes’ return to Everton, Armando Broja suffered an injury in the game against Peterborough United.

The ‘sensational‘ Albania international has been out of action since the FA Cup clash in the middle of March.

However, there has now been a breakthrough out of Abu Dhabi, with one club insider claiming Broja has returned to training.

‘Everton striker Armando Broja has returned to light training in Abu Dhabi with the rest of the squad,’ they said.

Everton discussed Broja’s return to Chelsea in the January transfer window, but the Londoners were keen for the striker to remain on Merseyside.

Despite signing in the summer, Everton fans are yet to really get a proper look at Broja whose season has been completely ruined by injuries.

There is photographic proof that Broja has rejoined the Everton training sessions during their trip to the United Arab Emirates.

Broja was spotted in the background of one of the images published by the club on Friday afternoon from their Abu Dhabi training camp.

Those inside Everton were excited about Broja when he arrived at Finch Farm over the summer.

However, he is now running out of time to show fans and the club what he is actually capable of.

Beto has really impressed at Everton in the absence of the three other senior strikers, but Moyes will be pleased to see some back-up returning to fitness.
