Jarrod Bowen sent a light-hearted message to the Premier League after an official decision was made following West Ham United’s 2-0 win over Leicester City.
The Hammers secured an easy victory against Ruud van Nistelrooy’s relegation-threatened side at the London Stadium on 27 February.
Tomas Soucek got the opener after pouncing on to a loose ball before a Jannik Vestergaard own goal doubled the home side’s advantage just two minutes before half-time.
Despite taking all three points from the clash, the Irons captain was perhaps a little frustrated, which led to a joke post on his Instagram story.

Graham Potter has secured back-to-back wins after winning just one of his first six games in charge of the East London outfit.
It was a 43rd-minute own goal which made the result sure in E20 as the Foxes showed little sign of finding the net throughout the second half.
Despite going down as a Vestergaard error in the end, there were questions as to why the Hammers captain wasn’t awarded the goal.
The England international’s work to keep hold of the ball in a congested penalty area, before firing a low effort past Mads Hermansen, felt worth a goal in its own right.
The Premier League’s dubious goal panel didn’t feel this way and ultimately put the goal against the Denmark international.
Reaching out on his Instagram story (27 February), he said: “Premier League. We need words.”
This was followed by an angry face emoji and a laughing face emoji, displaying his post was clearly said with tongue firmly in cheek.
Bowen shines for West Ham once again
There is no doubt that Bowen was on top form once again, against Leicester, regardless of him getting on the scoresheet or not.
The 28-year-old has been in great form throughout the season, besides a spell on the sidelines through injury which came as a huge blow to Potter.

The Englishman was also on the scoresheet against Arsenal as he grabbed the winner, putting a premature end to the Gunners’ title chances.
These sorts of important goals have been indicative of the skipper’s spell in East London and it is clear to see how much he loves scoring for the Hammers.
To lose one goal from his tally against the Foxes has frustrated him but with a clash against Newcastle United coming up, the chance to score again is just over a week away.
