Newcastle supporters were left impressed with the team’s performance against West Ham as they spotted one player capable of replacing Anthony Gordon.
The Magpies continued their push toward a Champions League return by defeating the Hammers 1-0 on Monday (10 March), with Bruno Guimaraes scoring the only goal of the game.

The Brazil international latched onto a cross from Harvey Barnes that was pin-perfect and left Guimaraes with the ideal opportunity to score.
Eddie Howe’s team managed to cling onto a clean sheet to take all three points and move further up the Premier League table in the process.
Newcastle have now overtaken Brighton and sit level on points with Man City, although Pep Guardiola’s side have a slight edge due to goal difference.
The Geordie giants are now just two points behind Chelsea in fourth place, and have also put the pressure on Nottingham Forest in third.
