Blunt Graham Potter has hung woeful West Ham star Evan Ferguson out to dry with a double whammy after the Wolves loss.
Fans wait 18 days for a West Ham match to come along only to end up wishing it had been longer.
That is the general consensus after another boring and ineffective performance in the Hammers’ defeat at Wolves.
Graham Potter has now lost six of his 11 games as West Ham boss, winning just three.
The Irons are without a win in their last three after looking like they may have turned a corner with back-to-back wins for the first time in a year against Arsenal and Leicester.

If West Ham did turn a corner, they’ve gone straight into a brick wall.
Wolves look a younger and more talented side than the Hammers.
That’s some damning indictment given they are the only team separating Potter’s side and the relegation zone.
There were very few West Ham players who could come off the Molineux pitch with their head held high.
Not a single Hammers star received a 7/10 rating at Wolves.
But one player in particular was worse than all the rest.
With a desperate 2/10, West Ham loan flop Evan Ferguson was the worst player on the pitch.
The 20-year-old Irishman isn’t entirely to blame having hardly played in the last three months.
But if Brighton seriously want between £50-60m for the target man then West Ham won’t be paying it.
Ferguson had criticised Potter for his lack of game time after scoring for Ireland during the break.
Potter bit back at the Ferguson criticism ahead of Wolves, but made it clear he was ready to give him his first start.

So he did, with Ferguson leading the line. But things did not go to plan at all.

Ferguson was once rated at over £100m by Brighton and likened to Harry Kane.
But his poorly time runs and the absolute sitter he missed to open his West Ham account make a mockery of that lofty reputation.
Not only has the Hammers boss Potter blamed Ferguson for the defeat to Wolves.
But he doubled down by raving about how much better his replacement was when Ferguson was hooked at half-time.
Potter told Sky Sports Ferguson’s miss changed the game and cost the Hammers dear.
And he rubbed salt in a gaping wound by waxing lyrical about Niclas Fullkrug – who was playing his first competitive football in three months – saying taking Ferguson off and bringing the German on made West Ham much better.
“We had a really good chance, a big chance and we didn’t take that one and then they got into the game,” Potter said in a damning assessment.
“We wanted to be more compact and as a result the first half wasn’t a good one for us. We had to adjust things at half-time and we did.
Potter says West Ham better with Fullkrug than Ferguson
“We were better in the second half, some other chances as well, but in the end not enough to win the game.
“(Fullkrug was) really good. You can see what he brings to the team. We can go long into him, he picks up second balls, a threat in the box.
“For the first time he has played 45 minutes for us in a very long time so that’s pleasing.”
Unfortunately Ferguson looks like being the latest in a long line of West Ham striker flops.
To be upstaged by the ageing, slow and injury-prone Fullkrug in his first match for a quarter of a year is a damning indictment on the young forward.
Fullkrug did indeed look a much better option in the second half.
So much so, Ferguson may as well go back to Brighton now as this will probably be his first and last start in the claret and blue.
