Only a few days ago, Richarlison teased Everton fans with a social media post of him wearing an Everton strip.
Fast forward to the eve of the Merseyside Derby, and the Brazilian is posting more Everton related content on his Instagram account.
The 27-year-old shared a post of him scoring in the Merseyside Derby at Anfield ahead of Everton’s trip to their rivals on Wednesday night.
During the 2020/21 campaign, Richarlison scored in Everton’s 2-0 victory away to Liverpool which was held in front of no fans.
It was a landmark victory for the Toffees who had secured their first derby win since 2010 and their first win at Anfield since 1999.
Richarlison’s future at Tottenham Hotspur remains uncertain this summer, with a potential return to Everton being suggested.
One thing that is clear is the love the 27-year-old still has for the club.
Everton could unleash Iliman Ndiaye against Liverpool
Much like Richarlison, Ndiaye has quickly become a fan favourite on Merseyside for those in blue.
The Senegal international has really impressed this season with Jamie Carragher praising Ndiaye’s Everton displays.
Whether Moyes will rush Ndiaye back into the starting XI remains to be seen, but the Scot seemed optimistic on Tuesday about the forward’s recovery from injury.
Moyes admitted Ndiaye was ahead of McNeil in the recovery process, which may well suggest he’s in with a shout of playing on Wednesday.
Having a player like Ndiaye available would certainly provide the travelling fans with a real boost going into the game.
