Liverpool picked up the three points against Everton in the Merseyside derby, winning 1-0 at Anfield on Wednesday.
Diogo Jota broke the deadlock in the second half after David Moyes‘ side put in a resolute performance defensively.
However, despite throwing the kitchen sink at it, the visitors failed to pick up any points against Arne Slot’s side.

Was solid defensively but struggled to offer too much in the final third, but still appeared to give it his all.

Was tidy with his passing and controlled the tempo well in the middle of the park.

Went missing during parts of the game and played a major role in allowing Liverpool’s goal.
Jack Harrison – 4
Constantly let the rest of his teammates down with the final ball as he struggled against Liverpool.
Abdoulaye Doucoure – 3
Struggled to control the ball and make anything happen in what was a pretty poor performance from the Mali international.
Carlos Alcaraz – 7
Was one of the better players for the Toffees and ensured that they did not miss Iliman Ndiaye too much.
Beto – 6
Missed a glorious one-on-one chance in the first half but appeared to be a constant thorn in Liverpool’s side.

Failed to be influential off the bench as he was wayward with his passes.

Got bullied in the air and failed to create havoc in the final third as Moyes would have wanted.
