Elliot Anderson stayed positive after Nottingham Forest’s victory over Manchester United, despite ongoing speculation about his future.
Nottingham Forest secured a hard-fought 1-0 win, with Anthony Elanga producing a stunning solo goal to sink his former club.
Anderson wasn’t at his best for Nottingham Forest on the night but has been a key figure since arriving from Newcastle last summer.
Newcastle were forced to offload Anderson and Yankuba Minteh due to PSR and FFP regulations, aiming to avoid a points deduction.
However, former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Anderson should return to Newcastle, believing he is a player they could build their team around.
Amid the speculation, Anderson remained focused after Forest’s crucial win, showing no signs of distraction as his side continues their push for European football.
