Ange Postecoglou’s relationship with the Tottenham supporters has seemingly soured after his controversial gesture on Thursday but the Spurs boss has now made one request to the fans ahead of the crucial matches coming up.
Many Tottenham supporters were already at the end of their patience with the Australian, and some fans acted with anger when Ange Postecoglou cupped his ears to the away end at Stamford Bridge following Pape Sarr’s equaliser, only for it to be ruled out due to VAR.
The Spurs boss made that gesture after his decision to bring Pape Sarr on was booed and there were many uncomplimentary chants sung about him from the travelling contingent.
However, Postecoglou has denied cupping his ears to the fans, insisting that he only wanted the celebrations from the away end to be louder.

The 59-year-old has now acknowledged after Tottenham’s latest defeat, which was their 16th of the season in 30 Premier League games, that this campaign has been extremely testing for him and his squad.
