Potter passes judgement on West Ham fans when asked about Bournemouth half-time boos

The West Ham United fans were not happy at all with Graham Potter and his players after watching the first-half against Bournemouth at the London Stadium on Saturday.
West Ham were well off the pace inside the first-half against Bournemouth, but the players at least showed somewhat of a reaction in the second-half at the London Stadium.
The West Ham players left the pitch to a chorus of boos at the half-time whistle, and Graham Potter will be under no illusions now regarding the pressure he is under.
And rightly so – they were utterly awful.

Before the Cherries clash, Graham Potter urged his West Ham players to up their levels.
It took them a while to get going once again though, unfortunately.
Graham Potter responds to West Ham fans’ boos vs Bournemouth
The first-half performance during the draw with the Cherries was truly abysmal.
It’s obviously still very early days for Potter, but he needs to start racking up some wins, and fast.
The Hammers fans were clearly unhappy with what they saw on Saturday, especially during the first 45 minutes.
And Potter responded when asked what he thought of the boos that were ringing around the London Stadium at the end of the first-half, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“I completely understand where the supporters are coming from. I understand where the crowd are at because we haven’t done well enough at home. We haven’t won enough and played well enough, so you can understand there’s a frustration there.
“This is normal and we accept that and we have to take that responsibility. But I think if they can see something, the crowd get behind us and then, like I said, it’s a fantastic atmosphere and really pushes the team.“
Potter made one big mistake with starting XI for Bournemouth
The Hammers head coach absolutely has to start selecting the correct team.
He cannot keep making changes early on in games simply because he set up incorrectly in the first place.
His starting XI against Bournemouth on Saturday was wrong from the start, for one very simple reason.
Niclas Fullkrug should have started the game.
And if the big German is not in the starting XI for our clash with Liverpool next weekend, it will be a clear sign that something isn’t right.
