BARRY FERGUSON tore into his Ibrox flops and told them “You lot are NOT a Rangers team.”
The interim Gers boss watched his side lose 2-0 at home to Hibs and admitted he was FUMING at what he’d watched.

He held a lengthy post-match inquest as his side slumped to their FIFTH successive home defeat.
And Fergie’s now promising changes, both for Thursday’s Europa League clash with Athletic Bilbao and a complete OVERHAUL of the way the team will play between now and the end of the season.
In an incredible post-match press conference, Ferguson accused his side of not being good enough to play the free-flowing football he wants.

“I spent a bit of time in the dressing-room and there were a few home truths.
“That’s not a Rangers team. It’s miles from being a Rangers team.
“Hibs deserved to win and this is your bread and butter.
“I’m fed up repeating myself – European games and Celtic games are the easiest games to get up for.
“It’s games like today that this group of players struggle with and it was evident today.
“We started well, then it’s another mistake, they go into their shells, and feel sorry for each other.

“In the second-half I demanded a lot more from them and I didn’t get it.
“You’re playing for Glasgow Rangers. If you can’t get up for games of football then you shouldn’t be playing football, especially here.
“You come into a place like this, a brilliant stadium and supporters, packed to the rafters, getting behind you.
“And we put in a performance like that.
“As you can probably see and hear, I’m fuming.
“I’ve made my mind up which way we have to go from now until the end of the season and it might not be pretty to watch.
“As a Rangers fan, coming to Ibrox, you want to see free-flowing, attractive football.

“So I need to go away and think long and hard what way we’re going to approach things.

Asked if some of his current squad lack the mental strength required to play for the club, Ferguson responded: ”I would rather keep that in-house.
“But I seriously need to go away myself – and I’m not just putting that on my players.
“I’m the guy who picks the team. I’m the guy who decides how we’re going to approach the game.
“But I asked them the question after the game. Is it hurting them?
