VACLAV CERNY has DODGED a suspension over the so-called watergate scandal that occurred during last month’s Old Firm derby.
The Rangers star was caught squirting Celtic fans with water as he and his team mates celebrated Hamza Igamane‘s winning goal at Parkhead.

Both Cerny and Nedim Bajrami were spotted aiming water bottles at Hoops supporters housed in the front rows of the main stand.
The scenes provoked fury in the crowd and Gers staffers and ground security had to step in to try and calm things down.
Some were so angry they some members of the crowd PUNCHED the away side’s dugout shelter.
With no sort of precedence to go on, the SFA allowed police to take a look into the incident first.

Cops decided there was no action to take after launching an investigation.
And now the SFA have acted by issuing a formal warning to Cerny over the incident and his future conduct.
Cerny and Gers were sweating over a potential ban but the player will instead be free to continue playing for the remainder of the season as normal – providing he does not step out of line again.
The soaking scandal was one of the main talking points from the derby clash – despite all the action on the park itself.
The Light Blues won 3-2 on the day after seeing Celts battle back to 2-2 in the second half, as the visitors surrendered a two-goal lead.
Gers boss Barry Ferguson, who said he initially didn’t see what happened, defended Cerny’s actions and described him as someone who became “over excited”.

He said: “The reaction was, he’s excited because his teammate’s just scored what was to be the winning goal.
“I would have a problem if my players and my staff sat in their seat and never said a word or done anything. I want to see players and staff celebrating.
“Why do we play football? We play football to win games.
“And when we win games I want to see my players and my staff celebrating alongside our supporters.
“Sometimes you get a wee bit over excited, I’ve no issues with that.
“As I said, Vaclav was just over excited when his teammate Hamza scored a goal to get us a three points where we’ve not been able to do that for five years which is a long, long time.”
