Athletic Bilbao Fans Take In Iconic Celtic Park Tour | Latest Celtic News

Athletic Bilbao supporters were spotted yesterday afternoon enjoying a rare experience at Celtic Park. A large group of Bilbao fans made their way to Glasgow and couldn’t resist the opportunity to take the iconic Celtic Park stadium tour, making it a day to remember before their team’s Europa League quarter-final first leg at Ibrox.

Bilbao, known for their passionate fanbase and history, brought a sizeable number of supporters to Glasgow, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. The supporters, many of who were seeing Celtic Park for the first time, took in the history and tradition of Paradise, learning about Celtic’s legendary players, unforgettable moments, and the club’s commitment to the community.

It’s not often you see visiting fans showing such respect, but it’s clear that Athletic Bilbao supporters have a strong admiration for Celtic’s history and Celtic Park.

As the group toured the stadium, it was clear that Celtic Park had made a big impression on the Bilbao fans. Many took photos, and shared stories, and chatted happily about what they had just seen. For some, it was a chance to learn more about one of Europe’s top football stadiums before their team played at Ibrox later that evening.

While Celtic supporters are naturally focused on the Hoops, it’s hard not to appreciate the respect shown by Bilbao’s travelling supporters.

In the end, although it was a brief stop, Athletic Bilbao’s fans clearly made the most of their time in Glasgow, and many will surely return to their own home ground with memories of a unique experience, having briefly shared in the history of Celtic.
