Dominic Solanke gained the attention of rival players on social media after the Tottenham striker’s display against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The former Bournemouth forward got into some good positions against the German side, but it was right-back Pedro Porro who netted the equaliser following an early setback on Thursday, 10 April.

Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham had taken an early blow as Hugo Ekitike opened the scoring after just six minutes, pouncing on some slack defending before bending his effort past Guglielmo Vicario.

Postecoglou is under immense pressure at Tottenham, and unless his side can bring the Europa League trophy back to North London, it could be curtains for his time in England.
Solanke had a good performance against Frankfurt on Thursday night, but has not been able to score in his last 10 appearances, with Spurs still struggling to create on the pitch.

Of course, the Lilywhites’ 3-1 win over Southampton gave them some much-needed momentum following back-to-back losses against Fulham and Chelsea, but the team can still offer more.
While there are still seven games remaining of the league season, all attention will be on European football instead, with nothing left to fight for in the Premier League anymore.
And European success is not guaranteed either. Even if they can claim victory in Frankfurt, a tough clash against Bodo/Glimt or Lazio awaits, with Man United, Lyon, Rangers and Athletic Bilbao still in the competiti.
