Graham Potter is expected to make two changes to his starting line-up for West Ham United’s trip to Liverpool on Sunday.

The Hammers were denied victory by an Evanilson strike in a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth in their last outing and will be keen to bounce back at Anfield on Sunday (13 April).

Potter’s side have not won in their last four matches and the former Brighton manager will have to try something different to try to spring a surprise result against the champions elect.

Alphonse Areola has earned the number one goalkeeper spot under Potter and he is expected to continue between the sticks on Merseyside.

Potter is predicted to stick with his back five system but there could be a change in personnel as Aaron Cresswell missed the Cherries draw and is a doubt for the clash with the Reds.

Edson Alvarez deputised in a makeshift centre-back role in that contest, but Konstantinos Mavropanos might return at Anfield alongside Jean-Clair Todibo and Max Kilman.

In front of the backline, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Oliver Scarles are predicted to continue at wing-back after impressing under the 49-year-old.

In midfield, Alvarez is expected to return to a more familiar role with Tomas Soucek and Lucas Paqueta alongside him in a formidable partnership in central areas.

Mohammed Kudus might be dropped in favour of Niclas Fullkrug after the German’s exploits against Andoni Iraola’s side.

The 32-year-old featured from the bench for 36 minutes against the Cherries and notched the equaliser after Evanilson had opened the scoring and his height and physical presence could be a difference maker against the Reds.

Jarrod Bowen is West Ham’s star man in attack and he is predicted to continue to lead the line with the former Borussia Dortmund striker.

The 28-year-old will carry most of the burden but Fullkrug could cause Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate issues and allow the England star to thrive.

The Irons do not have much to play for in terms of Premier League position but they will keen to finish strongly.

Players are fighting for a future under Potter and if they can secure a positive result against the league leaders, it would help their case to stick around as the manager rebuilds this squad.
