“Just imagine what would happen with him as manager. Can you imagine the battles with SFA? Box office.”

If the US consortium could make Mourinho’s move to Ibrox happen, it would undoubtedly be a statement of intent.
Although the Portuguese manager may have fallen from grace in recent years after stints at Manchester United, Tottenham and Roma, he’s still a manager who’s won 26 trophies.
With the 62-year-old head coach currently at Fenerbahce, it wouldn’t be out of the question for him to join the Light Blues.
Rangers are one of the most prestigious clubs in Scotland, and the challenge of competing with Celtic in the league may be enticing for Mourinho.
