TENSIONS boiled over at the end of a dramatic draw between Aberdeen and Rangers at Pittodrie this afternoon.
And in the thick of the action Dons captain Graeme Shinnie was spotted confronting Gers interim boss Barry Ferguson at full-time.

The home side were 2-0 up at half-time thanks to goals from Leighton Clarkson and Pape Gueye.
It therefore looked like that result would officially crown Celtic champions, prompting a street party back in Glasgow.
But Hamza Igamane pulled one back for the visitors just after the break and then Ianis Hagi pulled one out of the top drawer to equalise for Rangers with the last kick of the ball and it finished 2-2.
The stunning strike prompted scenes of ecstasy in the away dugout and it seemed the furore spilled over after the final whistle was blown.

Pictures from the pitch at full-time show a rammy taking place in the middle of the field, with over a dozen bodies involved from both sides.
Match officials and stadium security staff rushed to the scuffle and it was defused before anything serious happened.
What didn’t go unnoticed however was a furious Shinnie shouting in the direction of Ferguson.
Players put themselves in between the two to separate them, with Ferguson clapping back at Shinnie before walking away. Shinnie was also seen squaring off with John Souttar.
It’s unclear exactly why Shinnie stormed over to Ferguson but when Hagi’s goal went in, some members of the Gers bench celebrated by turning around and goading the Aberdeen supporters behind them.
Nicolas Raskin and Findlay Curtis punched the air in the direction of the home fans, who reacted by shouting and pointing back in their faces.

Neither Ferguson or Aberdeen boss Jimmy Thelin commented on the melee during their post-match press conferences.
The 2-2 draw delays Celtic’s inevitable title win and the first half performance from Gers had Kris Boyd so angry that he said some of the players should never be seen in a blue jersey again.
He blasted on Sky Sports: “I mean, some of them should never be seen again.
“Honestly, some of that performance in that first half was embarrassing.
“Danilo, £5million? Wow.
“McCausland? The first one as an isolated incident is not a yellow card but there were two or three fouls beforehand so that’s why he’s obviously been given one.

“He dives into the second challenge and it’s a yellow and red card all day long.
“So many Rangers players out there have been passive and it’s not good enough.”
