THERE were countless standout performances to choose from in the game at Parkhead today.
Celtic netted four goals in barely 20 minutes on their way to a 5-1 win, with goals from Cameron Carter-Vickers, Reo Hatate, Daizen Maeda, and Anthony Ralston.

But it was left-back Greg Taylor who picked up the Player of the Match award despite the fact he was subbed off after an hour of play.
Traditionally the PotM would do post-match media and be presented with their trophy, but Sky Sports spoke to Carter-Vickers and captain Callum McGregor instead.
Interviewer Luke Shanley said that the full-back was ‘unavailable’ as Taylor stayed out on the pitch celebrating with his newborn baby.
Manager Brendan Rodgers was asked if this is any hint towards the 27-year-old’s future as rumours that he won’t extend his stay beyond the end of the season continue to swirl.

Rodgers responded: “I’ll always fight to the very end for a player and a person like Greg.
“He’s earned the right to make the decision he wants, but I think you see in his performance today how important he is in that role for us.
“It opens up so much, and he plays like a midfield player for us. We’ll always try to convince (him to stay).
“But we’ll see what happens from now until the end of the season.”
There has been talk of potential interest from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb, while some have called for Old Firm rivals Rangers to make a move for the defender.
The Hoops boss had previously already seemed accepting that Taylor would be heading out the door since it was confirmed that Kieran Tierney will be returning from Arsenal in the summer.

After his storming performance today, a number of supporters of the Celts have rushed to the defence of Taylor and wished for him to stay.
One fan said: “Greg Taylor should be persuaded to stay. Key part of Celtics success over last 5 years,” while another added: “If we signed a new left back, and he played at the level that Greg Taylor has today, we’d be delighted.”
Ex-Celtic star Chris Sutton on commentary for the game was also positively enamoured with the showing, giving high praise to the former Killie man even long after he was substituted.
As Taylor went off the park, Sutton said: “Best player on the park for the first hour, a very intelligent footballer.”
