James Forrest created history at Celtic on Trophy Day last weekend.
The Celtic legend had Parkhead in uproar after his 94th-minute equaliser against St Mirren meant that he has now scored in every season since making his goalscoring debut against Motherwell back in 2010.
The goal created some incredible headlines as Forrest made more history at Celtic and end the Scottish Premiership season on a high.
So you would think that this would a hot topic subject even for Ally McCoist as he does claim he likes to promote the Scottish game whenever he can.

Forrest’s goal made national news, was covered heavily by Sky Sports and the BBC so up next, you would assume, would be talkSPORT seeing as they trumpet themselves as the UK’s largest sports radio station, right?
Wrong. And as Jeff Stelling rhymed off the weekend’s big talking points, this is what the pair of them discussed about the historic Celtic goal.
Stelling said on talkSPORT, “Look. I mean, an unbelievable weekend for Crystal Palace, for Arsenal, for Boreham Wood and, of course, Coisty, they’ll be dancing in the streets of East Kilbride.”
McCoist replied, “By the way, I was wondering if you’d have known. I could tell you right now, I was absolutely ecstatic at the weekend with that result for East Kilbride.
“My wee home team for the first time ever, ever Jeff, in the top flight of the top three or four, three divisions, four divisions of Scottish football.
“And the place, absolutely, the scenes were incredible in a weekend. And I’m so pleased. I’m chuffed to bits for East Kilbride, I really am.”
So nothing. Not a peep. The FA Cup gets a mention as does non-league Scottish and English football clubs. Can’t say we are surprised to be honest.
